The problem
Job sites are built for adults with a résumé. You’re looking for your first chance.
But reaching available young people near your business quickly is still difficult.
For a part-time job, the process should be simpler.
How it works

Discover nearby openings that fit your day-to-day life.
When the interest is mutual, you can chat with the employer.
You slide, and so does the employer. When it’s mutual, you’re connected.
Create your account and specify the role, location and schedule.
Receive profiles ranked by relevance, based on availability and commute.
Contact candidates who interest you when the interest is mutual.

DPAR is a Québec project for a first part-time job app. This pre-launch website and waitlist are operated by DPAR, PO Box 20008, Toronto, ON, M5E 0B1, Canada. Privacy officer: Privacy officer — DPAR, PO Box 20008, Toronto, ON, M5E 0B1, Canada; bonjour@dpar.app. This policy covers dpar.app, not the future app’s features.
We also record language, sign-up category, email consent and sign-up time. Answers are not candidate profiles. This website does not send them to employers or make automated hiring decisions. It does not request résumés, complete birth dates or precise geolocation. Do not include sensitive information or someone else’s records in free-text messages.
You may browse without signing up. Required fields are identified in the form. Information is used to manage the waitlist, send authorized updates and plan the pilot based on expressed needs, not for targeted advertising.
Subscribing requires an affirmative action in an unchecked box. External font permission is separate; refusal does not block sign-up. The youth waitlist is for ages 14–18, not children under 14. Ask a trusted adult or our privacy officer for help if you do not understand an information request.
Withdraw email consent through the email’s unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting Privacy officer — DPAR, PO Box 20008, Toronto, ON, M5E 0B1, Canada; bonjour@dpar.app. Withdrawal ends the subscription and triggers deletion under section 6. A new consent will be requested where required for a new use.
This site’s code includes no advertising or analytics tools and does not use localStorage. The first-party dpar_preferences cookie stores your external font choice, its version and choice date for 180 days. It contains no email or unique tracking identifier. Deleting it in your browser causes the preference notice to appear again.
Google Fonts is off by default. If allowed, your browser contacts Google for Plus Jakarta Sans. These requests disclose technical information including your IP address and browser and request details. Processing may occur outside Québec. Withdraw permission through Cookie settings; future visits use a system font. Past requests cannot be undone.
The hosting platform receives connection data, including IP addresses, and may process operational and security logs. Its platform mechanisms are separate from the external font preference. Contact our privacy officer for details about hosting-related processing.
Sign-ups are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database associated with OpenAI Sites hosting. Authorized project administrators and infrastructure providers may access information as needed to operate, maintain or protect the service. Hosting and support may involve processing outside Québec and Canada, where different laws may apply. This site does not itself send emails; any provider selected for future mailings must be included in our privacy review. DPAR is responsible for assessing transfers and governing provider access before authorizing new processing.
Sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. After launch, they are also deleted after 24 months without a voluntary interaction with DPAR. For pre-launch sign-ups, this period starts at launch; a new voluntary request or update may restart it. Opening an email does not extend retention.
The privacy officer is responsible for applying this schedule, recording deletion requests and arranging deletion with relevant providers. Backup copies may remain until their scheduled expiry; access to them must remain restricted and they must not be reused for outreach. Any record that must be kept for a legal obligation or a dispute is limited to what is necessary for that purpose. Contact the privacy officer for the applicable processing and backup timeframes. The list must be reassessed if the project is abandoned or its purpose is no longer justified.
You may request access, correction, withdrawal of consent and deletion subject to applicable limits. You may also request computerized information collected from you in a structured, commonly used technological format where legal conditions are met. Contact Privacy officer — DPAR, PO Box 20008, Toronto, ON, M5E 0B1, Canada; bonjour@dpar.app, describing your request. Only necessary identity verification will be requested.
Formal access or correction requests receive a written response within applicable deadlines, generally 30 days in Québec. Refusals must explain the reason and available recourse. Complaints may be made to our privacy officer, Québec’s Commission d’accès à l’information or, where PIPEDA applies, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
The site uses HTTPS and server-side input checks. No measure eliminates all risk of unauthorized access or loss. The privacy officer is responsible for limiting access according to duties, overseeing retention and destruction, handling complaints and coordinating privacy assessments and incident response. Incidents must be recorded, and affected individuals and the competent regulator notified when required by applicable law.
A revision date will appear at the beginning of this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site and, when needed, to affected individuals. A policy change does not replace required consent.
